Neil and I had our first date was at Hopkins Vineyard, followed by a bottle of wine at Lake Waramaug. We knew right away we were destined to be together- and destined to be partners in adventure! One spring Saturday, we were feeling particularly stressed and eager for an escape, so we headed up to Stonington for the day. After hitting up Saltwater Farms Vineyard, perusing the shops downtown, and sitting down for dinner at Water Street Cafe, it suddenly dawned on us, Why don't we do this more often??? We immediately proposed the idea inspiring this blog. Right outside of our door are countless beautiful parks, quaint towns, gorgeous beaches, and historical places; all perfect destinations for impromptu get-aways. CT is ripe with adventure, and we're missing out!
So launched our quest to enjoy our own beloved CT. Of course, New York born and raised, I will always be faithful to my #1, But when in CT, do as the Connecticuters do!
